Tampere Hall is a versatile event centre. The entire building is designed with optimum accessibility in mind: we want everyone to have unhindered access to enjoy Tampere Hall’s events and will do our utmost to ensure it. Our staff has been trained to aid and assist customers with different disabilities.
Tampere Hall access points feature ramps and automatic doors. Corridors and door openings are wide, and handrails at the top and bottom of stairways have tactile indicators to alert users to the handrail ending.
The Main Auditorium, the Small Auditorium and the Studio have tiered seating. Each of them features wheelchair spaces and seats for accompanying persons. Persons with mobility problems can also enter the rooms in ample time before the beginning of an event. Both the Main and Small Auditoriums are equipped with an induction loop system.
The entrance lobby features an elevator which goes to all floors of Tampere Hall and Café Soolo. There is an additional entrance for people with mobility issues as well as another elevator at the other end of the main lobby. Groups in need of assistance are kindly requested to contact lobby staff (recognisable by their blue jackets) for assistance, preferably in advance on tel. +358 (0)3 243 4111.
Disabled parking spaces are marked clearly with signs. They are located in Tampere Hall's own parking area, close to the main entrance. Traffic signs indicate a 15-minute parking space in front of Tampere Hall. It is intended for anyone visiting the Hall’s ticket office.
A fixed induction loop system is available for hearing aid users in the Main and Small Auditoriums of Tampere Hall.
Accessible toilets are available on the ground floor and the basement level. The basement level can be reached with elevators.
